Another Reason Why Lego Is Awesome
Apparently Lego employees get personalized Lego figures to use as a business card. How sweet is this!

I’m sure that there are many critics of this author’s explanation of “The Crisis” but I think this is great. For me, there are certain topics/issues that are better understood through an audio-visual explanation. This seems to be one.

Sirius XM To Begin Filing For Bankruptcy
It looks like another great service that I’ve happily subscribed and paid for nearly 5 years has found a way to completely implode. It’s ridiculous how much time and money was spent trying to persuade the government to allow the merger of the two satellite companies. The public was told if the merger did not occur then it was certain that one of the companies would go under. Well now that the merger has occurred the only thing that it brought to the subscribers were confusing channel options and higher prices. Yay!
I guess I really shouldn’t be surprised watching these two former companies completely stumble their way into obsolescence. They decided to focus on putting their radios into new cars and hoping new owners subscribe. They seemed to think this was all they need. This probably wasn’t such a great idea seeing how the domestic automobile companies have run themselves into the ground as well. All the while the iPod and cell phones have quickly innovated to create and offer nearly comparable experiences with a lot more bang for the buck in comparison to satellite radio offerings. I’m not sure the blame solely rests on Sirius/XM, I could see the music industry, specifically the RIAA, and government regulations certainly contributing to the industry’s decline.
In a slight comparison it’s amazing to see how satellite TV survives considering the immense competition from all the cable TV companies. I guess the public places a higher value on content they watch rather than content they listen to.
I don’t exactly feel too compelled to renew my subscription any time soon given the state of Sirius XM. I really haven’t been happy the way the XM channel programming has gone to crap since the merger.

Sony Releases New Stupid Piece Of Shit That Doesn’t Fucking Work
“…anyone mystified by the device’s numerous, extraneous features can scroll through the interactive help menu, a ‘labyrinthy’Â maze of indecipherable topics of use to fucking no one.”
An “Onion” classic.

Munich Subway
I’d have to agree with the author. It was a little daunting trying to navigate the system, especially after our late night at the Hofbrauhaus during Oktoberfest. Thankfully we had some help from an English speaking attendant.

Please bear with the stupid 15 second pre-roll ad, it’s worth it to see the animation.
Quite amazing…he was so calm despite what was going on.
